    dns.msftncsi.com flooding my NextDNS

just out of curiosity has anyone checked if dns_probe behaves the same way in stock as it does in merlin. I just find it strange and honestly kinda dumb that asus supposedly resorted to this hack as a wan detection scheme. I mean ive had plenty of router , they all had connection up/down...

AX58U - Wifi unstable with Smart home devices (TP-link HS200, HS105 switch etc...)

damnit ofc its the version AFTER merlin goes final. I bet I have this issue going on as well because I have those auth deauth and although my tp link hs210 and 220s are staying connected it seems and I can control them over network sometimes they are very slow and I have other smart rgb strip...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

@RMerlin Last post about this i swear :). I peeked at the source and found the relevant code and I think maybe the reason i was able to do what i did and still show internet connected has to do with the fact i'm on a PPPoE connection... The code that made me think this is linked below...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

fair enough. did you see my later post though? cuz i did a full M&M reset/config when setting this up so i know i didnt have any leftover nvram values that were invalid . but reguardless i did manage to get monitoring working without dns query going at all surprisingly. Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.4 is now available

Just skimmed the whole thread. I have some comments: something is borked with asus's 2.4ghtz wifi driver. I actually had issues with some of my RGB light strips on the last stable version and not this one. They would reboot about once a day. This powersave toogling issue i also noticed with my...
