For me personally the only option I'm waiting for is the LACP script. I heard it will be integrated in the future version. Doing load balacing with my Synology box is worth waiting.

Honestly I don't use the increased option. I have the AC87U version. What I love about this version is that it has the unlocked channels and I can use almost all channels. For sure it won't fry any channel or hhgomes wouldn't release it in the first place.

If you are not happy with the cooling, buy a laptop cooling pad, it works fine :)

If you don't overclock the router it shouldn't harm it. You will find that this firmware will work better, I promise. As a word of advice, reset the router before flashing and do another reset after you flash the firmware, and please don't import configurations. It will work better :)
