    I will have a look at the FreshTomato firmware. Thanks for the heads up. It's a pity that Merlin will no longer be supported for this model. Well I'm not losing hope if one day Asus will update the official firmware patching the serious vulnerability from May. Maybe the developer will cheer up...

    Hi, thank you for your reply. I had seen that the Merlin firmware uses the ac68u but I didn't know that with the original asus firmware you could also update the ac66u b1 :)
