    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    You switched the power supplies only or the AX92U's units only?

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    My two AX92Us have been very stable and fast even after switching the AX92U node from AP to AiMesh. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my AC68U's (firmware 386.41634)after switching them from AP. The problem was that the 2.4ghz ssid worked fine. But I think the 5ghz ssid is confused. It's...

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    Perhaps someone can answer this. I'm not using the built-in DNS/DHCP server in my AX92U. Instead I'm using Pi-hole (running in a VM in FreeNAS) for DNS, DHCP, and ad blocking. It's working great. If I enable Guest network and turn on isolation, wouldn't that mean the devices connected to my...

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    BTW, I just noticed now that my Adaptive QoS is enabled. I did not enable it. I'm suspecting that after switching to AiMesh, it was enabled by as well. I have now disabled it and I don't see any difference in speedtests. Or...it may have something to do with the Asus mobile app. I was...

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    Hmmm... So far, for users here who've switched to 41712, yours is the only one that's still problematic. Try swapping your main AX92U with your other AX92U, ie use your other AX92U as main router. Disconnect any USB devices attached to your AX92U's for now. Factory reset both then setup your...

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    I have switched back all my AP's to AiMesh nodes out of curiosity. I have to say, I'm liking AiMesh 2.0 a lot better compared to 1.0. There are a bunch of essential settings now in 2.0 that were missing in 1.0 which caused me to switch to AP mode. My two AX92U's are on 386.41712 and three...

    AX92U - slow internet speedtest after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.386_41535-g1caa24a firmware

    This is what my friend said: Uptime has been 2 Days, 16hrs and 7 minutes. Downloaded the syslog, did searches for "crash0 and "panic", none found. See a lot of deauth , disassociates, reauths, and reassociates as I move around the mesh nodes.

    Is yours setup in AiMesh or AP? I have a buddy setup in AiMesh, but his main router is an AX88U and 2 AX92U nodes. All have the latest Asus stock 386 firmware (41700 and 41712 respectively). It's stable.

    Migrate AiMesh from RT-AC68U -> RT-AX92U

    Whenever I need to transfer DDNS to a different Asus router, I would either assign a new DDNS hostname on the old router or turn off DDNS altogether on the old router. I have never had to call Asus to transfer DDNS.

    Yes...just to be on the safe side. I don't know if it's absoletely necessary, but I did anyway just to make sure to remove the possibility of leftover crap.
