    I've been using this router for years and have never had a problem with it restarting on its own. I am now using the latest firmware but have never had any problems with previous firmwares

    I think The Cool Dude is jumping to a conclusion too quickly. if you experience a problem does not mean that you know where the problem is. I'm using the latest firmware (407) with a wired node (RT-AX86U) without a problem and have never even booted the RT-AX89X since installation (48 days up).

    I think you're jumping to a conclusion too quickly. if you experience a problem does not mean that you know where the problem is. I'm using the latest firmware (407) with a wired node (RT-AX86U) without a problem and have never even booted the RT-AX89X since installation (48 days up).

    RT-AX89X suddenly started using a lot more CPU and memory leak leads to lockup every ~10mins

    Last night at 7:40 PM my router rebooted when I was not home. It has now worked fine for 24 hours. Checked the file in Putty. This one was not present but it was the one that should be there. So it can go well by itself. admin@RT-AX89X-C8A0:/tmp/home/root# rm /jffs/asd/chknvram20230516 rm...

    ASUS GT-AX89X and GT-AX11000 AIMesh w/2.5G Ethernet backhaul speed issue with GT-AX11000 on 5Ghz

    Asus says SFP+ interface is not compatible with 1 Gigabit data rate. That's why I use the 1 Gbps to my node RT-ax86u. I get around 900 Mbps on both. My plan is 1Gbps I also don't use the 388 software on the RT-AX86U because the 89X doesn't have 388 yet. see my signature.

    I have the rt-ax86u myself, if you use the button on the router, it will automatically turn off the lights after a restart after about ten seconds, but the admin menu is ok 2.
