    I have removed Entware and Transmission, I reformatted the JFFS partition. I still cannot open up the port, right now I have set my VPN provider, Anonine, to open port 51413 and I have also configured port forwarding on the router as below:

    Would it be done from GUI or through Putty, Im guessing Putty since Transmission seems to run on a lower level.

    I understand. I checked the port through the website and its still closed. I guess I will need to make a configuration on my router as well?

    I have uninstalled Transmission (formatted the JFFS-partition) and I changed the setting on my Anonine account, see below and rebooted my router, all tests (testsite) still show the port as closed.

    Hi, thank you for taking the time to address this issue of mine. I tried https://canyouseeme.org/ and also Transmission lists port 51413 as being closed. I tried opening the port by running a firewall-start script but to no avail. My VPN provider allows P2P-connections (I use Anonine).

    Because that is the last version for that router model. Indeed I am! I run a VPN client in AsusWRT-Merlin firmware, constantly on and the have binded Transmission to an internal ip which is routed through the VPN-tunnel.

    I tried it all, I can't seem to be able to open port 51413 for Transmission on a Asus RT-N66U running Asuswrt-Merlin 380.70. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Not sure I'm putting this question in the right subforum, so many to chose from. I'm on a Asus RT-N66W (same as RT-N66U, just different colour) with AsusWRT-Merlin firmware. It has a function to work as a FTP server through Asus DDNS (myusername.asuscomm.com) but even though I run a VPN client...
