I used to get 900+ on some old version ( don't know which ) and then it broke. I haven't flashed any old version back as I am fine with 600+

I have the EXACT same problem. Get 980+ if I connect the ISP modem directly to my laptop. If I use the ac68u in PPPOE mode I get ~600mbps with h/w acceleration ( AI protect / qos etc off )

I just reinstalled everything with nvram erase as well as a hard/wps reset and it's working now :) I never did the reset through ssh before, just through the webui. Thanks again everyone.

I just reset my router (68u) and upgraded the firmware to 384.3beta3 On reinstalling dnscrypt2 I am getting the following error during installation ( highlighted ). Dnscrypt process isn't starting ( pidof / top don't show dnscrypt-proxy ) JFFS custom scripts are enabled. Thanks
