The other option is don’t upgrade to the next release until you return from your 4 month trip. Do your homework while away. No sense getting all tense about something that won’t affect you unless you upgrade.
Nextcloud is great and I use it on my Synology NAS. Not sure most routers could handle some of the requirements but it's a sweet solution. AiCloud is long past due in my opinion and Merlin is making a good decision here.
I'm getting ready to do a factory reset of my AX86U Pro and I've done all the backups from the GUI using the export/backup commands. I've also taken a bunch of screenshots as well. I've got 2 instances of the OpenVPN server running (Server 1 and Server 2) and wondering whether I need to export...
Just want to confirm that I had in the past an older AC68U run into almost the same exact situation. It would start doing crazy stuff like going offline for no reason and WIFI would go wonky...just silly nondescript stuff happening. I disconnected the external USB drive and it got a bit better...
I'm holding off myself right now on my 86 Pro as i have a couple of older devices that sit on the guest network. The new GNP seems a bit quirky with some older devices at times and I can't afford to spend time right now troubleshooting any issues if they arise. I'm pretty sure I could figure...
I'm assuming the original poster has tried this on different computers? Perhaps a plain setup PC/Mac without any 3rd party add-ons/software or AV/firewall software other than the built-in Windows/Mac av stuff. This would help establish a baseline to work backwards if the issue still exists in...
Just wondering if anyone has restored a backed up VPN server settings configuration file from the old firmware to the new firmware in this thread after a factory reset? Did it restore it without any issues? Just trying to gauge the amount of work I need to do after the reset once on the new...
WOW this is exactly what my friend might be looking for. He's a huge model train guy who's in the middle of building a complete railway in his basement.
I use the SpeedTest app from OOKLA on my PC and I consistently get the below on Bell Fibe. Downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store and no issues for my 86U Pro on a HH3000. Anything less than that and your speeds will likely tank although I'm not sure you can use FIBE on anything less than a...
I actually like the idea of a warning the minute you enable the option. I used it years ago when I first got on with Asus but was simply useless to me and moved on to Nextcloud as a much better option.
Dude you just made my day!! I was seriously ROFL as your description is exactly what I go through with my own 82 year old mom!!! It’s truly painful when her router acts up 😆
I think I might have finally solved this issue but we'll see...it's been over 30 days and still good connecting to my canon printer. I got so frustrated with the whole process that I lost track of the changes I was making on the 2.4 and 5GHZ professional settings. Anyway here are my settings and...
