hi, I need advice on buying a router that support bandwidth shaping, qos to limit bandwidth in my business. I have customers ocassionally come in and downloads and my business computers is taking a major bandwidth hit. My budget is $200.

As suggested above. You can built a Freenas system very cheap or I would suggest to get a Qnap or Thecus. I owned both. I hightly prefer Qnap but watch out before upgrading to newer firmware as some has problems.
I am using a Netgear powerline with modem in another room. Then upstairs I ran another powerline from the modem only (enternet) port. I tested with/without the speed is the same. But I did noticed higher latency.
