What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

what I meant was, couldn’t the version be updated in the future, or Cake be ported back?

Thanks, I did install FlexQoS (that's your baby right)? Thank you.

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

Thanks, that IS helpful. Is that likely to change?

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

Yeah but that's not very helpful. It doesn't say WHY or if it's coming latter.

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

Thanks is that an add on? How do I get it? What’s the deal with Cake is it too CPU intensive for the AC68?

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

Um that wasn’t my question. Did you even read it? Thespeeds are fine. No upgrade needed. The equipment is fine. No upgrade needed. The only thing I asked about is the status and best practices of QoS in ASUS Merlin and. Not one person has answered the actual question. I might as well...

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

Huh? What demand on a 30/4 connection could the AC68 possibly not meet? If I were to replace it, which I’m not, I’d go with an Edgerouter X and a couple access points. Wouldn’t even consider a consumer router.

What's the latest on QoS in 386.2?

I have a RT-AC68 at my parents place running 386.2. The have a 30/4 cable connection with two TV's running 24/7 (like old people do) and use a remarkable amount of data (1.5Tb/month). Their connection seems perfectly sized for them and they have no issues. They probably don't need QoS, but...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Curious - I have a Synology too. What are the benefits of running DNS, and what are you using as your upstream? I really like the granular info I get with NextDNS.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Thanks - now it makes sense. Is there anything I can do to help? Is there a reference number for the issue I can provide Asus or is it not worth the time? Thanks.

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

I use Ubiquiti myself, but I have an RT-AC68 at my parents that I manage remotely. If I replaced it with anything it would be an EdgeRouter. TBH they probably don't even NEED QoS... but I'd still use it if it was available. Thanks.

Very jealous, is there a way to use on RT-AC68?

Thanks for the reply. So it's NOT an Asus issue then?
