    ...problem seems to be solved. I changed the 5ghz band to "auto" instead of "N + AC", and I'm now showing as being connected at 1.0Gbps. ...anyone able to illuminate me as to why that made a difference? Shouldn't N + AC be the fastest option? It seems like that setting limited me to N only...
