    just leaving a quick update. I managed to get the router reset. I used the nvram reset method and got a usb to ethernet cable to upload the firmware with the recovery tool from my windows laptop. everything's fine now :D

    tried, first and third did not work at all, the second url (the https one) opened up the AiCloud. I'd like to mention that 192.168.1.1:8181 opens the Download Manager fine.

    Hey, I just tried the Discovery utility and I am getting the same IP address: 192.168.1.1: same on the Fin app.

    no macbook, no. I've got the Razer Blade, the 14" version. Which has no ethernet port. As for the first setup, you are able to connect to it using the wps, aren't you?

    alright, what I do not understand is, after doing the reset, the problem will not be solved until I flash the new firmware. So, if the problem is not solved after reset, how do I access the setup page to flash the new firmware?

    i'm on a merlin build. can't remember which one exactly, but I do know that it's not the latest. so, if I upgrade the firmware, after resetting, it might fix the issue?

    OK, I tried another browser, cleared all data, tried incognito and this is what I get now: I do not have a PC or laptop with ethernet port. Will have to get and usb adapter for this. Anyone has any other ideas?? :mad::mad:
