pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

I will save this link... I got stuck this evening, and I could not browse to this link to get the -SIGUSR1 command to post the stats. Restarting the service immediately restored normal browsing action on my network.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

Thank you for this. One followup question, and I will search through the past posts if I missed that too, but should all of the certs have nobody as owner, or just the parent (/opt/var/cache/pixelserv) directory?

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

Adding my voice. Been using this for quite a while (running on an AC68w) - currently on Ki; tried the Kk and Kl-test8a today, but they did not seem to keep running. After installing and then throwing a bunch of sites with lots of ads, I did not see the https counter go up, and then the...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

Try turning off "Guest Mode" on the chomecast. That is what seems to be the solution from here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-chromecast/303760-chromecast-causing-wifi-issues.html --- baltosml@RT-N66U,RT-AC68U

AdBlocking with combined hosts file with Lighttpd

Look at this regarding whitelisting - it has worked for me, added to the two scripts that create hosts.clean. It should take each whitelisted URL and remove that line from hosts.clean. --- baltosml@RT-N66U

    Unable to access settings

There was another thread on this - what I determined in my case was that each time the router restarted (or perhaps httpd itself) the keys changed. At the end of this thread (post #30) I outline the steps I took to keep using the same certificates/keys between restarts...

Settings have been updated... Locked out...

I have come up with a solution that has worked for several days and survives reboot. I hope this might help someone else. It is pieced together from discussions in other threads. - copy the cert.pem, key.pem and server.pem from /etc to /mnt/sda1/cert - install the cert.pem on your iOS device...

Settings have been updated... Locked out...

Thanks for the tip for iCab mobile - for this lockout issue, clearing all of the cache items in Private Data did not fix the lockout issue for me. --- baltosml@RT-N66U

Settings have been updated... Locked out...

With iCab mobile (iOS) I cannot find a way to clear cache/cert/etc that allows a reconnect. However, I did find that if I am sure to tap "logout", and close the window, I can reconnect. Update: Alas, this process of being sure to log out and close window after a successful connection does not...

Settings have been updated... Locked out...

I am also having trouble with this error message appearing on ios browsers with my RT66u running v40 and https enabled on 8443. On iOS I use Safari and iCab. Symptoms are as follows: - Connects initially using IP address (after accepting the unsigned cert); can do what I need, but after a...

AdBlocking with combined hosts file with Lighttpd

Thanks. I am trying out the transparent pixel. Works well. A recipe site my wife and I use was broken because of some blocked sites. I created a simple list of white listed sites (one per line), and added this after the line that creates the hosts.clean file: cat /mnt/sda1/whitelist | while...

AdBlocking with combined hosts file with Lighttpd

Is there a benefit to serving up a simple index.html over a pixel image (or vice versa)? Can I try to come up with a special url.redirect directive that delivers pixel images for image/media requests, and index.html for everything else? (I say, "can I," because this is uncharted water for...

    RT-N66U, 5Ghz, rMBP problems

I had some issues with the MTU size because of my ISP (Clear) and I added the following to my wan-start script to force the router to smaller MTU: ifconfig eth0 mtu 1400 ifconfig eth1 mtu 1400 ifconfig eth2 mtu 1400
