Odd GUI issue with Asus Routers

Okay so this is duplicated within the Asus firmware as well. If so then perhaps the Merlin firmware merely duplicates the original problem. Like you I only began noticing the issue several months ago. It had been working normally for years. Kinda thinking it might get resolved with later...

Odd GUI issue using Merlin on BE/AX routers.

Interesting I can verify Firefox browser on my Android phone works fine.

Odd GUI issue using Merlin on BE/AX routers.

I haven't thought to try using an Android device. Are you using the Asus app or just Firefox as your browser?

Odd GUI issue using Merlin on BE/AX routers.

I added a topic on the main Asus forum pointing to this topic. Wondering if this might be occurring with normal Asus firmware and not just Merlin. https://www.snbforums.com/threads/odd-gui-issue-with-asus-routers.96158/

Odd GUI issue with Asus Routers

I originally posted a topic here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/odd-gui-issue-using-merlin-on-be-ax-routers.96026/ .....regarding Merlin firmware. Doesn't seem to be much traction so thought I'd ask the same question here regarding Asus firmware being used on the router vs 3rd party...

Yeah as I was posting above and checking my Firefox revision it updated.

Odd GUI issue using Merlin on BE/AX routers.

I was going to reply back and suggest this wasn't a Browser issue but then......Boom! I decided to try in Edge and the issue does not appear. I use Firefox. Current version is 144.0 but as mentioned this has been happening a while for me. I tried Firefox in Safe Mode and the issue still...

Odd GUI issue using Merlin on BE/AX routers.

I began noticing this issue several firmware updates ago. I run 2 Asus routers. My main router is an RT-BE88U and #2 is an RT-AX88U Pro running in AP mode. Currently running the latest firmware...3006.102.5. What I am seeing is after logging in to the Router I go to "View List" of...

    BE88U

I ended up just resetting the router again and did the initial setup by splitting the radios. All is well now.

    BE88U

Setting up a new BE88U router. First thing I did was install the latest Merlin Firmware. I'm setting it up stand-alone to get it ready for my network hookup. Now looking for the place the name the SSIDs separate for 2.4G and 5G radios but can't locate that option anywhere. Upon initial...

    GT-AX6000 throttling upload speeds??

FYI I am using the AX6000 with Merlin 388.2_2_rog and am able to get my full speeds. Above 2G symmetrical fiber.

    Proper DNS setting?

I made the appropriate settings changes and now that little "note" is not there anymore. Thanks

    ax86u vs ax88u Pro vs GT-ax6000 vs GT-ax11000

This was an issue many of us had with the Router manufacturers for a long time. It was easy to find a Wifi Router with a 2.5g WAN port but still only retained 1g LAN ports. So the wireless clients may see faster speeds but the wired clients will not. That is why the AX6000 was such an...

    Proper DNS setting?

Running a AX6000 router and really no issue I am aware of. Also running Merlin firmware 388.2_2_rog. Under DNS and WINS Server Setting I have DNS Server 1 and 2 as 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1. Then under Manual Assignment Enable Manual Assignment is checked YES. However under WAN DNS Setting under DNS...

    ax86u vs ax88u Pro vs GT-ax6000 vs GT-ax11000

The thing to be aware of is to be able to use above 1 Gb speeds "ALL" connections need to be above 1 Gb capable. Does the ISP (supplied) modem have a 2.5g WAN port or just 1 GB? I ended up getting the AX6000 but I got it before the price drops so paid $400. It has a 2.G WAN port and one...
