    I have the M1 iPad Pro 11 inch and the ASUS RT-AX86U with the latest Merlin firmware. Never had any problem, but I'm using separate SSIDs for 5GHz and 2.4GHz, and making sure the iPad (and almost all the other devices) connects only to the 5GHz one...

    According to the logs, my ASUS RT-AX86U (10.10.10.20) itself initiates this broadcast, so I guess the router is trying to discover other ASUS routers, maybe for AiMesh? Latest firmware version installed - 386.2

    I'm on 3.0.0.4.384_9318 for the last 42 days, and I didn't have a single problem with my RT-AX86U. Several devices on 5GHz, include zoom sessions and VPN to the office.

    Merlin firmware for the new RT-AX86U?

    I've got the RT-AX86U yesterday to replace my RT-AC86U, using it in AP mode. So far works great on the latest official firmware, and of course I'm getting better speed on devices that support WiFi 6 (iPhones), but no Merlin firmware... :(

    New firmware for Linksys WUMC710 AC Media Bridge

    The reason you don't need to restart the WUMC710 anymore with the new firmware, it's because it restart by itself... Go to the web interface, and check Status, Wireless Network. You can see the: "Up Time since last reboot"... Batnun .
