NFS sharing not working with 3004.388.4 on RT-AX88U

It was the crossmnt option that causes nfsd to crash on the router. No idea what the reason was long ago for me to add it, but everything seems to work fine now without it.

NFS sharing not working with 3004.388.4 on RT-AX88U

Alright! Now it works again! Just need to find the culprit what option is causing nfsd to lock up in a way which never happened with the previous firmware revision.

NFS sharing not working with 3004.388.4 on RT-AX88U

Somewhat, now showmount -e router.local shows: Export list for router.local: /tmp/mnt/USB * But I still cannot mount it. Never had any issues with it. I don't really wanna change it as it'd require a bit of time I don't have the time right now to reconfigure stuff. That said, I also tried...

NFS sharing not working with 3004.388.4 on RT-AX88U

After upgrading from 388.2.2 to 3004.388.4, NFS sharing stopped working for me. On all my computers, showmount -e router.local results in the error: rpc mount export: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused I've tried enabling NFS v2 and rebooting the computers and the router but...

Diversion Diversion Youtube adblocker is not not blocking ads.

I tried out the feature today, but it's not working. It doesn't block any advert on Youtube.

    Samba still unstable?

The related log entries would be helpful. The provided attachment and description of the problem doesn't really say if its the WiFi function that restarts itself, the router rebooting, the smb service restarting itself or something else that happens.

    Samba still unstable?

Whilst I haven't used smb extensively, I don't recall it ever being unstable. FAT32 though.... (and lets not even go into trying to use NTFS on a router) Try using ext4 instead and see if you can reproduce the same problem.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I did another clean install, without changing anything, not even rebooting the router before installing. ..And now it works. I've no clue what could had caused my grief earlier on with Diversion. Thank you very much @thelonelycoder, now I know how to troubleshoot in the future if needed.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

I'm certain I've not done any changes by myself. I think its ntpMerlin that added them. Is there any way to access the syslog entries? I was under the impression that the syslogs are cleared and gone forever once the device reboots, that they aren't saved on any drive. Because if I boot with...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

This is with Diversion now being completely uninstalled using the d menu option.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Are there any leftovers left somewhere in any .conf file when uninstalling Diversion? It's a mystery to me why everything works, but as soon as I install Diversion or Diversion Lite, I can't even start the router.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Does diversion do something to dnsmasq.conf that would explain why the dnsmasq process hangs? I tried both enabling and disabling the custom dnsmasq.conf in Diversion, no luck.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Did that. No change. :( Edit: Right now the Entware repo is down so I can't try out Diversion Standard which was what I used previously. Though I do get the exact same error with Diversion Lite.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Starting yesterday, I can't use Diversion any longer. My RT-AC87U router suddently stopped working, neither LAN nor WiFi worked and I couldn't connect to the WebUI nor SSH to the router. I managed to get it working again by starting it without the USB drive and started turning features off one...

    Improving ipv6rd performance

My ISP hasn't yet implemented full native ipv6 for their customers. They do, however, provide an ipv6rd gateway. The downside of using it, is that my speed drops from ~700 mbit down to ~120 mbit. I am guessing this has something to do with hardware acceleration not being supported on the...
