    Firmware Recovery worked ! I'm confused as to why ASUS support didn't suggest this. It saved me a long delay and shipping cost and probably ASUS some money. Works great now.

    OK, tried the device discovery and said 0 devices found. That's troubling .... I have it setup for static IP. Should I reset that ? I wish I could connect it up via USB to recover the firmware.
