DNS Director (Global redirection = router, User defined 1 = pihole) not sending anything to user defined 1

Thanks for the iptables clarification. I get what prevent client auto DoH tries to do, but will that setting just be bypassed for the two devices I set to "user defined 1"?

Did I set this up right? WAN is pointing to the adult pihole. I turned "prevent auto client DoH" to ON. The two child devices in DNS Director are pointing to the porn block pihole (user defined 1). Everything else that tries to escape goes to the router? What will happen with auto DoH?

Hmm, I didn't see anything added for port 853 in the iptables. Maybe I'll try adding a script as you suggested. This is all becoming quite complicated and my 8 year old doesn't know how to change DNS settings yet anyway.

Clients can still manually change their server to another LAN DNS server or use encrypted DNS, right? So it doesn't really prevent much. It seems blocking common public DNS IPs would be more useful.
