    Hi - thanks again. I have Vista (hopefully upgrading to 7 soon) as the Printer system, XP is my media computer, and the laptop is also Vista. The workgroups will work even though the networks are technically different networks?

    Wow, thanks for the fast reply! That Wlan option sounds good, too bad I don't have it. I have shared out the printer, and some other folders - but the other computers cannot even see my computer. Any further details on how to set this up? thank you
