Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

When you create a new IoT network when you don't have one, one of the options is to make it a 'subnet' of the main network. You have to uncheck that. My older hardware and cheaper hardware could not even see the network if it was a subnet of the main network. quad-9 you have to input manually...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

You have to create your IoT network, and delect using the IoT as a subnet of the main network. And all the older smart switches and what not like ring cameras should connect no problem after youj do that. It took some time to figure that out, but don't let your IoT be a subnet of your main...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

I can verify as well. I went back to quad9-1 and have been okay for a couple days now. Which is odd, but who knows.

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

I’ve narrowed down some of the issues to DNS issues as well, if I use quad9s dns, it often messes up shortly after, or a bit after. Using the dns supplied by my isp is sometimes finicky. I finally settled on cloud flares, and haven’t seen any issues in about 1.5 days now. It’s possible it’s all...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

Yeah, mine is working alright. One thing i've noticed is make sure whenever you modify any of the network settings that drop the connection. Wait until everything is back up, and then do a full reboot of everything. It seems to fix the odd issues that are seen after changing settings. Pain in...

Struggling with Asus ZenWiFi BE30000 aka 3 node BQ16 Pro bundle

I can connect to every band on bq16 pro's. 6-2, 6-1, 2.4, 5. Perhaps you don't have it enabled in the network settings for that wifi network? If I remember right, it was by default not checked

Netgear R7500 Firmware 1.0.0.82 Enhanced Dymanic QOS Update Experience

Hi Bob, Just picked up an r8000 for an upgrade due to my older asus having some serious 5ghz issues. I noticed the QOS was pretty set it and forget it on the flagship. Any plans from netgear to bring it upwards to the r8000? Thanks. EDIT, apparently I was having trouble reading. I have now...
