VLAN tagging using MI424WR Rev I MoCA bridges?

Is it possible to pass VLAN tags using two MI424WR Rev I MoCA bridges? Is there some setting I'm missing? I even tried putting the upstream and downstream MoCA bridges on a VLAN port on a switch using a PVID and VID tag. That also didn't work, but it might be because the bridges were still...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

The problems access the AP webUI are from wired access. It seems the script is interfering with something. Where is the Beta v1.02x version?

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

The Edgerouter does all routing on one LAN port. The ASUS and other potential routers are in AP mode. This script blocks LAN access at the AP, but then that mixes on the Edgerouter LAN even though all the traffic originates at the AP via WiFi and wire?

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

Does AP_LANBlock.sh isolate my guest SSID even though the traffic mixes upstream at my Edgerouter? Some on here seem to feel that isn't possible as the Edgerouter has no way to separate the WiFi traffic coming from the Asus AP. When trying to block all but one printer, I initially got...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

It works with sleep nn. Without it, it somehow breaks the Guest WiFi and devices can't connect. I can fix that by running the script again in telnet. I have no idea why running the script again fixes things. I could try switching to nat-start to see if that removes the need for sleep nn. Will...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

Back in Router mode. Script seems to work, but I have some glitches of my own doing. The script open the ports and I can ping, but it sometimes makes it that devices can't connect to the SSID on which the script acts. I noticed this in AP mode, but it happens in Router mode too. It seems that...

Isolating guest network in AP mode

Assuming I can get that working, it seems that others are saying the traffic will mix again once it hits the independent router?

Isolating guest network in AP mode

It seems others have tried this, but it's not clear if it works. I could setup a second LAN on the Edgerouter and split the physical ports on the Asus. The problem is whether I can isolate the wireless networks on the Asus. If not, do I use a second Asus or a better quality AP that can handle...

Isolating guest network in AP mode

I'd like to isolate my guest SSID. I'm using AP mode in front of an Edgerouter. Will this work or do I need more in terms of brouting? I'm new to this scripting process. Do I need to do anything on the Edgerouter? /jffs/scripts/firewall-start #!/bin/sh #vlan1 is LAN #wl0.1 is guestSSID#1...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

I'll test this further in a day or so. I thought I could test this in AP mode, but see that I can't. I'll have to wait until I have access to the router in Router mode where I need this implementation. Thanks for all the help.

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

Tried the beta guestsubnet.sh /jffs/scripts/guestsubnet.sh wl0.1 autodnsmasq and get grep: /etc/dnsmasq.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/dnsmasq.conf: No such file or directory cat: can't open '/etc/dnsmasq.conf': No such file or directory (guestsubnet.sh): 4000 ***ERROR*** Guest...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

That could be it. Can't access webUI.

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

Yes, I used my SSID name and not merely SSID. Using SSID name as an argument doesn't work, but wl0.1 works. I still can't print or ping. If I ping, my own computer IP (and not the printer IP) replies back Destination host unreachable.

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

Thanks for your help. How do I find the actual SSID? I've got this opening the correct printer IP for the guest SSID after a router reboot. Is wan-start the place for this or should I put it somewhere else? I still can't print or ping the printer IP from the guest WiFi. I'm not sure what...

Allow guest network access to single IP for printer

./GuestPrinter.sh SSID printerIP1 run in telnet gives an output -sh: A: not found user@RT-AC68U:/jffs/scripts# (GuestPrinter.sh): 14774 Martnueau Guest WiFi Printer configuration Starting. [L] [: wl1.2_ssid=ASUS_guest2: unknown operand (GuestPrinter.sh): 14774 Martnueau Guest WiFi SSID: (wl0.2)...
