You are right afterall. I couldn't flash 3.0.0.4.378.7177 to my N56U in recovery mode. Gotta roll back to 6117. Also upgrading via the browser also doesn't work. Weird.

I flashed it twice, both successful. Besides all the miniupnpd errors were gone in this version.

Updated for my RT-N56U The version still says it is 3.0.0.4.378_6117 though. Working fine so far!

I am not living in Japan but I flashed the new firmware regardless, it is working great.

My update went fine, it is now that the new login authentication process doesn't let it remember my login credentials.
