    RT-AC3200 - Version 3.0.0.4.382.50010

After this update my PS4 cannot connect and my Scansnap takes several minutes to connect. Going to have to downgrade.

    RT-AC3200: latest firmware?

I've had this problem too. I contacted Asus about it and they said to update the router manually, so it seems to be a bug.

    Methods of NVRAM reset

Is there anything wrong with just resetting via the web UI? Does that not do an NVRAM reset?

    Current Stability of RT-AC3200

I have some devices that don't support 5GHz and they see the same issues as the ones that do, so I don't think it could be related to 5GHz. I'll try disabling beamforming and see if it helps. That would be a bummer however because I would expect it to negatively effect my range.

    Current Stability of RT-AC3200

    1) USB storage is off 2) We have a guest network (2.4GHz) turned on but we had it off for a long time and still experienced issues. 3) IPv6 is off 4) Administration->System->Browser redirect notice is on. I don't think it could be related to my issue however because I'm not having redirect...

    Current Stability of RT-AC3200

Agree completely. I have a higher than average number of clients and we put a lot of stress on the network. I'm sure the router works fine for many I was just surprised because we had such a stable setup previously.

    Current Stability of RT-AC3200

I have smart connect turned off and while it did improve stability, I'm still having both intermittent connectivity and throughput issues that I do not have with the RT-N16.

    Current Stability of RT-AC3200

Sadly I have not had very good luck with the AC-3200 and part of me wishes I would have returned it when I had the chance. I am running the latest firmware, but have not tried any beta firmwares. Note that my previous setup was a rock-solid RT-N16 running Tomato so my family was expecting...

Channel and bandwidth for 2.4 ghz access point

This was really helpful, thanks! I have a couple of follow up questions if you don't mind: * Would it be ok to run the main router in 40 MHz mode and the AP in 20 MHz on separate channels? Not very neighborly I know, but I'm far away enough from my neighbors that I don't think they're picking up...

Channel and bandwidth for 2.4 ghz access point

I have an Asus RT-AC3200 (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz) as my primary router and an Asus RT-N16 (2.4 ghz only) as an access point. Both devices are using the same SSID for 2.4 ghz. I have read the excellent access point setup guide on this website and have configured the devices accordingly...

    RT-AC3200 vs RT-AC87U vs RT-AC68U

I have an RT-AC3200 and I haven't been very impressed with the range, which was one of the areas where I was hoping for an improvement. In fact, my old RT-N16 seemed to have at least the same range as the 3200 in that we've been unable to connect at times to the 3200 in rooms where the N16 was...
