properly setup, the ax89x has been the best Asus router I have owned. Under administration turn the fan to high and decrease the chipset temperature if your in a warmer climate resulting in a very stable router.

It appears its a Broadcom problem with settings that are not configurable from the UI. However if the router is acting as a mesh from a non Broadcom router such as ax89x then the upload speed is not affected.

this is quite far behind the latest beta's that are in testing for other ax routers.

I will look for a refund, does not feel that Asus will merge this product into the new 386 ai mesh 2.0 firmware stream.

I am also having trouble with my ax89x is there a better contact to quickly resolve the refund than the traditional Asus help desk?
