Biggly, Starting from Ubuntu 8.10, it cannot discover the IDE HDD on the SS4200. I believe this is because the IDE modules are all removed from the default kernel. You can recompile the kernel to add back the driver. Direct install the 8.10 CD is still has problem on discovering the IDE...
