    Solved. Changed the MTU from 1500 to 1472, clicked save. sites still broken. Reboot router. still broken. Changed MTU back to 1500. still broken. Reboot router. All the aforementioned sites are functional. Seems to be a bug with how the firmware handles changing MTU.... but since its EOL...

    Right. It's more about understanding why its broken than just blindly rebuilding the configs. Helps myself in case happens again, along with the community.

    Funny you should ask. A few weeks ago I did try changing it from the default of 1500 to 1472 (largest without Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set) but eventually changed it back at 1500. The UI still shows 1500. Any way to check whats really set in the config?

    Logging maxes out CPU under heavy network load

    RT-AC87U 384.9 Recently I enabled the firewall log (allow/deny), along with dnsmasq ( log-queries=extra ), which are all being sent externally via syslog. Also have Diversion + pixelserv-tls enabled. Only during peak internet usage (aka bittorrent on a workstation) does the CPU go to 100%...

    Thanks all for the suggestions. Had a few hour power outage tonight so everything has been sufficiently reset :) A 256MB swap has been created. logging still disabled. we'll see if this fixes the recent issue. if/when this error occurs again, what are the correct command(s) so help properly...
