    This actually isn't the first QCA based AC wireless router. The TP-LINK Archer C7 came out way before the netgear hit. There was actually request for openwrt support on the TP-Link back in the end of May and beginning of June.

    Perhaps you jumped the gun on something you don't know works for sure..? From the link you posted, the OP just bought the cable and hasn't even posted test results thereof.

    Not only that, but why would you really want a USB 3.0 port on a router anyhow? As it stands, a USB 2.0 port doesn't get full USB 2.0 speeds on a consumer router anyhow, why would USB 3.0 be any different? And last but not least, the best reason why not to have USB 3.0 ports on a wireless...
