Colin, no not yet! not at that particular site. There 8 ports. 8 are in use but the site needs only 4! So there are 4 switch ports taken up going to LAN ports not in use. Did not have time to plug them out. Needless to say not labelled anywhere on switch.

Anyway what is a popped switch port? Could it be the LAN point itself?
I inadvertently plugged my Tone Problem Tester into a PoE-enabled socket.
All LED lights went out on it. Then smell of smoke...gr8!
