    Can't seem to get a 1300 Mbps tx rate on ASUS GT-AC2900

    I'm having a similar problem with newer 14" MacBook Pro with Pro chip. With a Ubiquiti U6-LR I can get TX Rate to show 1200 however with XT12 I can't get more than about 800 right next to the router.     160 MHz Wi-Fi Channels: Friend or Foe?

    According to my understanding from Apples Technical Wifi Specs the latest model MacBook Pros will only bond to two 80 Mhz channels. They don't support 160 Mhz. Does anyone know of any wifi boxes that have multiple 5 ghz 80 Mhz channels? Any mesh units?
