At least with newest stock firmware for the rt-ax86u pro, they fixed the weird upnp bug that was happening. Hopefully it gets fixed soon on Merlin firmware. Probably something weird on there end on the gpl releases. Nvm it’s still broken. At least port forwarding fixes it.

It has to do with what Asus is doing and not him most likely. From stock firmware to merged firmware that is used on asus Merlin. It’s just really confusing on whats going on.

The settings I was referring to are still on stock but not on Merlin. They appear on some models but are missing on the rt-ax86u pro. I’m just wondering why not carry them over for all models that support it.

I can definitely say that the rt-ax86u pro is missing some settings. We don’t have target wake time or WiFi agile multiband on the asus merlin firmware at least the newer versions. So who knows what all is messed up. I’ve been experiencing problems with WiFi as well. Upnp has been acting up at...

I know it hidden but my question is why get rid of the setting or implement an all in one setting for mu-mimo for download and upload streams so we can have more freedom to choose and not have to enable ofdma.

The multiuser-Mimo is still available on latest stock firmware which released not to long ago. So it makes me wonder how it got removed in the first place. Also disabling ac/ax beam forming tells you that multiuser-Mimo doesn’t work without it but the setting isn’t actually there anymore. So to...

Under wireless professional settings. Check both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. There’s an option for ofdma/mu-mimo that is for ax devices but there should be an option called just mu-mimo that’s for ac devices.

Check to see if mu-Mimo is still showing up for you under both bands. I reset my settings after I updated so idk if that makes a difference.

I own the rt-ax86u pro and the one problem I noticed is MU-MIMO is missing on both frequencies.
