    Unfortunatelly I didn`t have the patience to reset it and afterwards to re-do all the settings (which are a lot). I`ll do it in the weekend. PS: other than this issue with WiFi, everything else seems to work ok ...

    Yes .. I have tried it, unfortunately. I don`t know which are the benefits, besides some skin upgrade in the interface management page, but, other than that, there is an significantly decrease in wi-fi performance. There is a sky-high lag and all devices that previously connected to 300Mbps...

    ASUS RT-AC88U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.7743

    I have updated, a while ago, to the firmware 3.0.0.4.380.7743 and I had a WAN bandwidth limitation. Instead of 500Mbps, I couldn`t reach more than 300Mbps. I have downgraded to 3.0.0.4.380.7378 and everything is back to normal. Just posted this this so that someone can use this info...
