I thought I was out of the woods but the error came back 6 days after a hard reset. I just got off a chat with Asus. Looks like I'll be sending it back under warranty.
Hi,
I recently started seeing these errors intermittently. The router is working fine but is there cause for concern over a potential hardware failure?
Thanks.

Yes, Private mode.
Actually in my Google travels that did come up as KB glitch, but it's probably baked into the the latest release so uninstalling the KB wouldn't be an option...or would it? I really didn't look at the specifics.
I'm at a loss here and have never had this problem before. I just set up a new computer with Windows 11 Home 25H2. This may be the wrong place to ask but I'm totally Googled out. I have a drive connected to an RT-AX68U router that every other machine on the network can see and connect to except...
Just an aside... does Asus use any Merlin coding in it's stock firmware? I noticed a number of references to it in the logs:
Dec 31 17:00:20 kernel: MerlinSupport::merline_speed_set_core(): PMD Setup 50MHz, 10.3125GHz VCO programming
Dec 31 17:00:20 kernel...
Actually....that's exactly what seems to have happened. I checked the router logs and the previous date shows as December 31 and the one prior that shows as July 3. There were also a ton of odd entries showing on the Dec. 31 date. The last entry for Dec. 31 was an NTP update. Not sure what...
Like I said in my post, fully updated stock firmware. Connecting via WiFi from a Surface Pro tablet using Edge. I know the issue is the router and I don't intend to kill a mosquito with a sledge hammer because the problem is so minor and infrequent that don't want to spend much time...
I'm not sure how common this is, but occasionally I can't login to my fully updated stock RT-AX86U Pro without rebooting first. It still works fine but it just doesn't recognize the user name and/or password until the router is rebooted. There is no error other than invalid user. Then everything...
I remembered that my son worked for the ISP for many years. He said he's seen this before and suspects it may have been caused by a system update that went awry and not a DoS. Especially because the node went down not long after the incident. Also, I actually did hear back from Asus and all they...
