    Ubiquiti Users

I've used the R7800 and I currently have the UAP-AC-PRO with EdgeRouter X. I did extensive A/B testing before sending my R7800 back. The R7800 is significantly faster at wireless than the pro due to better processor and Wave2 support. It also has great range. QoS was pretty buggy. The R7800 is...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.31SF

ulaganath, I came across this post on NG forums and it sounds like the same issue you've been having with QoS. https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7800-1-0-2-28-attached-device-no-upload-download-metrics/m-p/1298124#M58876 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

[News] - AT&T to Acquire Vyatta Software Technology from Brocade

I wonder if this affects companies who base their OS on Vyatta, like Ubiquiti. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

R7800 LEDE community builds by hnyman

Is there a better way to test bufferbloat? With Streamboost on Voxel's firmware, I'm getting an A across the board. Not A+ since I didn't go very aggressively on the bandwidth settings (about 10% lower). Is there a test you guys do besides dslreports? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

R7000 new firmware with data collecting feature!

Funny how NETGEAR spends their time on this rather than fixing the bugs and outdated code in their routers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.30SF

I am wondering the same but don't have a R7800 to try it with. Could you try it and let us know? The R7800 is on sale this week but this issue keeps me reluctant to pick one up again.

    [R7800] Problem with Ethernet connections

Netgear doesn't really acknowledge it but there definitely has been a pattern. Have you tried Voxel's custom firmware? He's cleaned up some of the Netgear code. There's another thread in here with the latest build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    [R7800] Problem with Ethernet connections

It's a known issue but no word from Netgear on a fix other than RMAing. Some people on the forums have not had the issue anymore after an RMA. Also try an alternate firmware to see if that fixes it. It hasn't been determined if it's a hardware or software issue. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A...

    R7800 Issues

Guys, did the new firmware from NETGEAR this month solve this issue for you? I no longer have the router, as I have returned it but I am tempted again by the new sales this week and new firmware.

    Streamboost?

What's the best way to test if it's working? I have it on but don't really notice a difference on my connection with the R7800. My speeds might be too high to saturate @ 150 down / 10 up.

    R7800 Issues

Glad you got it resolved! Keep us posted on the issue with your replacement. How often did the issue happen? I haven't had it happen again since I rebooted the router about 4 days ago. Was it happening since you first got the router?

    R7800 Issues

I've been a reader of this site for many years but finally just registered today so I could post in this thread. I was able to replicate this issue myself after seeing posts on NETGEAR's forum about this. Curious: Do any of you have an xbox one plugged directly in to the router when this...
