i had never had issues with wifi connection for 2 years i used the extender always a first time :)

After many attempt, i connect the extender in a LAN port and try again... don't know why and how, but i succeed in installing it as aimesh node :) for oinformation, the extender run the last stock firmware : 3.0.0.4.386_51891 if this post can help an other forumer

don't have the same issue with the new AXE16000, i keep this one. apart for this issue, it doesn't limit my internet connection with its wan port!

i didn't reste between flashing, neither from Asus to Merlin (with degraded performance) or Merlin to Asus (with a return to normal performance). but i can try no saved backup config file used Tests were made with Minimal configuration, only ISP connection (1G first and 2.5G second)

i used this website for everytest : https://www.speedtest.net/fr/result/15835399854 same MO and same equipment (S22 ULTRA connecter with wifi AX, ROG laptop with Wifi AC) for each test options were totally the same between 2 firmware, except of course if Merlin add some specification you can...
