thanks for the reply stevech. That's what I initially thought too, but it seems that their HD station can directly play back from the HDMI port to your TV. I looks like qnap is using XBMC.

Hi Guys, I'm deciding to buy a NAS and I came across QNAP's HD Station and Happy Get. It seems to be a really cool idea to use a NAS as a HTPC. Also the Happy Get feature to download youtube videos to the NAS seems great too. Anyone have any feedback on the feature? Here is a link with more...
