    ASUS Blue Cave + 2 x Lyra-mini (aimesh)

Hi, I was planning to use the blue cave with the Lyra ac2200 and wanted to follow up on this issue. Did you find a solution or did it resolve itself?

is a 87u powerful enough to route for 10 access points?

Curious as to what access points you’re using? Is it a mix of brands or all ASUS?

ASUS Access Point w/ Netgear Router

I have a Aimesh set up right now with 3 Asus Lyra AC2200 (one mode acts as router) but I plan to buy the NETGEAR R7960P from Costco and use that as the router then set my Lyra nodes to AP mode. I’m hoping the roaming will “just work” as it did before but would like to understand if there are...

    Lyra firmware 3.0.0.4.384.45891 (2019/05/13)

    Lyra firmware 3.0.0.4.384.45891 (2019/05/13)

This update did more harm than good for me. AiMesh nodes aren’t keeping connection even on Ethernet backhaul. I had better connection on the previous firmware. Not sure if my backhaul via an unmanaged switch matters. I think I need to restore the old firmware because this is crap.
