    Umm, on Asus Firmware ethernet port 1 is prioritised, if you don't want it to hog your connection, don't use port 1! I think you'll find info on this in the gaming section of the router Web UI.

    It seems a very odd direction to be going in. Bluetooth setup, WiFi via additional APs only, no 2.5Gbps or 10Gbps port(s). Very odd! I'd also wonder with the 8+1 port PoE version does it have a switched power supply?

    I'd be making sure that it is the router that's the problem before doing anything else! You should be able to see the signal strength to the bulb from "Network Map: View List" on your router.     PoE - Power over Ethernet! Are you powering the MoCA boxes using PoE, in which case you would need an injector (not a filter) on the ethernet leading to each MoCA device. *Im in the UK so MoCA is incredibly rare here, so if I'm wrong I will yield!
