    That's fair, don't mean to be dismissive. I agree on cables, I wired my house and all my cables are Cat 6 made and tested by yours truly. Which is why... I'll swap it just in case. That would be an easy solution.

    You mean the Ethernet cable to the modem? I don't think it's the stock cable, but I don't see how that could be related. The modem is up and the router reports that it's connected and shows the appropriate IP. It simply won't route traffic. I'll look around, I'm sure I have more cables lying...

    Wow Asus really screwed this up. I just registered to also report that 7266 is dropping WAN while still showing it connected about every 3 hours right now. You can fix this with a reboot, but that drops all DNS! Currently I'm rebooting ~3 hours *and* having to manually drop and rewnew DHCP on...
