    Flashing new firmware on this unit is supposedly easy (as everyone seems to be doing that twice a day!) but my experience (and your's) is quite different. I too did not think my unit was bricked(as it goes to recovery) but nothing I did helped. Can you tell me what fw your unit came with? Mine...
