The NAS had OpenVPN configured as well, with the same VPN subnet configured, so of course it's internal routes were set up for the 10.8.0.0/24 subnet on its internal interfaces.     @pilotboy72: I think I had it set to Automatic, but I will check. I tend not to mess with settings like that, at least at first. @overdrive31: The NAS is online, as confirmed by my wife at home :) Good point though.

    Yeah, I've seen that before, but this is a QNAP NAS. Figured that of all of my LAN hosts, it would be the one to reply to pings, as it has no firewall. But my VOIP adapter responds no problem, just not the NAS.

    Dammit, maybe I need to investigate further. I can ping other hosts, just not the one I was using for testing. I'll have to check the config on that device to see what might be going on.
