    Maybe I'll give Merlin a try to see if that helps. During the setup, both routers have always prompted me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which I've always done. Perhaps giving a new firmware a try might be a good solution to see if it helps the issue. Is the 5 GHz issue an internal problem...
