    I have a ax58u as a mesh node and a ax88u as my main. The recent posts about people having wifi issues on the latest stock with these changes is making me hesitant to upgrade even though these are security issues.

    Random disconnection of multiple devices

    I have a ax88u and ax58u node on aimesh. Both on 386.3_2. I have around 40~ devices connected at all times ranging from lightbulbs to pcs. On occasion some of my devices would lose usually the 5G network and then can't reconnect. I would see the device number all of a sudden drop to 25 devices...

    Release Asus RT-AX58U Firmware. 386.41700 (1-26-2021)

    Some users have stated better speeds and stability in 2.4ghz, but YMMV. If it's stable now, maybe don't bother upgrading.

    spdMerlin spdMerlin - v4.x - speedtest and bandwidth monitoring

    Installed merlin recently and got everything setup for spdMerlin. However, when I run the speedtest, it get a not found message after accepting the license agreement. tried updating the app but it says everything updated. Any clues?

    Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 Beta (stage 2) is now available

    Upgraded my AX88U to 4b and my ax58u aimesh node to beta 4 from stock firmware. My 58u node would not show or accept any wifi clients and sometimes even show disconnected. Anyone else have similar experiences? Update: did a hard reset on my ax 58u and now it doesn't even show an AIMesh setup...

    ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware v3.0.0.4.386_41249

    For some reason everytime I check for firmware updates, my Asus disconnects and restarts. I check logs and supposedly the time gets set to may 5th when it crashes. Not sure what's going on or why. On the latest ax88u firmware and 1 aimesh with ax58u

    I've noticed the binding options on the ai mesh page doesn't stick. I have my main pc that connects to the main router but it always changes to the node even though the signal is good. The option is always reverted when I click on the binding button again.

    Attached the change log from the Asus router app for my AX88u. Upgraded with an AiMesh setup with a AX58u node thats still on the old firmware. Hopefully no issues.
