Beta Asus GT-AX6000 beta firmware version 9.0.0.6_102_33874 (2024/02/23)

So I am getting a reload2024 ransomware attack on 2 particular PCs exactly after every 8 days. We formatted all 5 PCs on the network and they have MS365 and Tally 4.1 and nothing else. Yet those 2 PCs keep on getting ransomware exactly after 8 days. I am stumped. We used 3 antivirus and none of...

    Release ASUS RT-AX68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_24646 (2024/02/26)

https://hbr.org/2006/06/more-isnt-always-better Dumb people at Asus still don't get it. Have 3 or max 4 routers at best in any given point of time. The sheer amount of different routers causes the software development team to stretch too thin and everyone is unsatisfied with their purchase. I...

    ASUS Unveils RT-BE88U WiFi 7 Dual-Band Router

@RMerlin Any asus routers supporting 240 Mhz channel width on 5Ghz? Ubiquiti U7-Pro supports it but I am unsure if any clients support it or not. It could be huge factor in countries that haven't opened up 6Ghz for Wifi use. It can reach theoretical 4.35 Gbps on dual stream on 5Ghz Wifi7. This...

Beta Asus GT-AX6000 beta firmware version 9.0.0.6_102_33874 (2024/02/23)

A small niggle I have faced is when I turn on the screen of my iPhone, it is on 5G network and quickly connects to wifi. It doesn't remain connected to GT-AX6000's wifi continuously. But at home, it remains connected to my GT-AX11000 Pro continuously.

News RT-AC68U End of Life Announced by Asus

They can manufacture a quality BE router for under $200 even today. There is no need for 4x4 stream router. A simple 2x2 router with max 5.8Gbps is more than enough. Why? There are no frikking 3x3 or 4x4 clients. I don't believe there were 3x3 or 4x4 Wifi5/6/6e clients either so far. These evil...

Beta Asus GT-AX6000 beta firmware version 9.0.0.6_102_33874 (2024/02/23)

This beta has been amazing apart from it not saving ARP entries 15 mins after PC has been shut down. So it cannot be WOL from any WOL based apps if you have a static IP. 1. The only workaround is to set MAC address ARP via ssh and that is temporary solution as the router forgets as soon as it...
