Does anyone sell a Moca 2.5 compliant adapter?

Fantastic. I've been running them for months now with no issues. You can achieve real gigabit speeds with these. I run all six together without any issues at all.

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

I think I'll go visit some Android forums and suggest the new Samsung comes with a 2.5 GbE adapter. Or maybe the next smart fridge. Or the next model of Tesla. Yeah. Let's continue to complain that the Tesla Model 3 doesn't have 2.5 GbE. Maybe we should demand 5 GbE instead. We're 'power users'...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

Other than a gaming desktop PC, please point me toward a router or other device that has a 2.5 GbE adapter included. While that would be nice, 2.5 GbE is very young and not widely adopted. Please stop crying about it not having a 2.5 GbE adapter. That isn't what this is device is designed for...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

This can easily be due to many factors, like cabling, RG6 switch attenuation, read/write speeds on devices on each end, RAM, etc. In my testing, I saw the best performance with Iperf3 by starting the server each time I ran a test.

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

Again; the performance with MoCA 2.5 using 1GbE is still much better than bonded 2.0, unless you're running point-to-point bonded 2.0 in turbo mode without multiple nodes. Running bonded 2.0 point-to-multipoint with multiple nodes yields ~800Mbps versus MoCA 2.5 point-to-multipoint still...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

RG6 has been the standard for 10-15 years at least. Maybe longer (late 90's?). Some builders may have used RG59 for a bit longer, but I wouldn't expect RG58 to work at all in Band D (1125MHz - 1675MHz). It's just too high a frequency for the cable to handle. Thanks for confirming that. I wonder...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

I received all six of my goCoax MoCA 2.5 adapters. I started testing them, doing things like a regular home user would do. I'm interested in estimating the performance based on different characteristics, like OOTB, different coax splitter configurations, enabling security, etc. purpleman already...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

Well, I can probably answer that before testing anything. I don't expect to see 2Gbps between two devices. I don't believe the device is capable of this. You're likely to have more packet loss with your mesh network versus a dedicated MoCA adapter though. I'd be interested to see some of your...

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

I will test first using just two units and share my results. Of course the performance tests rely on many variables, so all tests are somewhat subjective. I'll work hard to explain my testing methods though. I'm glad we now have a MoCA 2.5 offering, especially after being snubbed by Actiontec...

Does anyone sell a Moca 2.5 compliant adapter?

I placed my order for six units. I'm excited to test them out!

    MoCA 2.5 adapters?

I ordered six units. I was notified that they shipped yesterday. I am excited to test them out. Even though they have a 1GbE NIC, the value is in the shared 2.5Gb backbone. MoCA 2.5 uses up to five 100 MHz channels instead of the two for Bonded 2.0. This should result in better overall...
