Thanks for the offer. I decided to go with the DIR-655 though. I'm not sure if it was the best idea, but I wanted something that was at least somewhat more powerful than the DGL-4300. I'm going to try out firmware v1.34NA on it, since there don't seem to be any horror stories out about it...
