I love the size of the mr2200ac mesh nodes, they looks like small routers. But yep they are not "pucks". But the last thing I want is a google listening devices in my house.

Actually, I've found the Synology 2600ac super-reliable and solid, a cut above ASUS and Netgear (though that's not saying much). We'll see next week how this new one works out, the SRM software is more mature than when I had it originally.
I've decided to sell my AX88U (and AC1900P) on ebay, just feels flaky to me after the port failure. Bought two Synology MR2200ac units, they are really great quality.
I just lost Port 2 on this router (RT-AX88U), anyone else get this? I can plug into Port 3 or 1 (or any other ethernet port) but spontaneously today Port 2 (of 8) just quit right in middle of the day by itself. Pretty miffed about it. I'll probably reboot router, see if it comes back but...
Yeah i did not notice the main WIFI (5ghz and 2.4 ghz) was off for 3 days (even though i thought it was weird there were less indicator lights on), because the Mesh router was picking up all the wifi from the house.
