Where did you get the Firmware? My version which I realize is a different product is from March 2023. Anything newer does not include Guest Network pro.

I have the firmware (supposedly) that supports vlan, for the Ausu GT-AX11000 Pro. But it is from March 2023. and Beta. It does not offer love.

I didn't want it visible in any case. But to the point. Can anyone shed any light on my confusion with Guest Networks?

GT-AX11000 ... The wifi interface has reached its maximum.

I was about to ask and I am hoping you can clarify the Guest Networks. The specs for the Asus router and nodes I am using say: Maximum Guest Network Rule : 2.4 GHz x 3, 5 GHz-1 x 3, 5 GHz-2 x 3 Asus also suggests to set up no more than 5 nodes (including the main router and other mesh nodes) in...

I am trying to understand vlans

Thank you for the start. Is pfsense a product name? Could I purchase a GT-AX11000 Pro router? Would that get me there? Thank you. Dave

I am trying to understand vlans

I have 45 devices on my LAN using a GT-AX11000 router with 3 Asus access points. I want to separate the network for the security wired and Wi-Fi devices from the entertainment devices from the productivity devices. I do not know much about vlans, but I am thinking this is the way to go, multiple...

Help with creating Virtual Networks using my GT-AX11000

I am using ASUS Routers now. Is there a router that would simplify what I am trying to do? In response to your suggestion of a network map, is there an example of what I need to create and how detailed? 45~47 devices is a lot of info, but I will do that if that helps me. Thanks Dave
