Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.5 Beta is now available

On my 2Gbig fibre in this beta (beta 2) and previous beta (beta 1) I notice that the Internet Speedtest for uploads seems to be way off. Before the upgrade I was getting proper speeds but since the upgrade Im getting less than 200Mbps. If I run a speedtest from a wireless device on the same...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.4 Beta is now available

All, after turning off Roaming Assistant on 2.4Ghz channel the problem seems to be resolved. The thing I dont understand about this is: 1. Didnt have this issue before upgrading both the router and nodes to 3006.102.4_beta1. 2. The problem is only happening on the 2.4Ghz channel. 3. None of...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.4 Beta is now available

Hi All, Since upgrading my main router and mesh nodes to 3006.102.4_beta1 I am seeing issues with some of my wireless devices. A couple of my ring cameras keep connecting and disconnecting every few minutes. Also, a couple of Feit light bulbs are doing the same. When I look at the AIMesh...

Problems with switch to AT&T fiber

There are ways to avoid it but very difficult and not 100% reliable. What I said in previous post works fine as I am on it now and getting 940 upload and download on the ASUS router.

Problems with switch to AT&T fiber

If you have more than one device showing up then you may still have wifi enabled on the AT&T device. You shouldn't have wifi enabled on both the AT&T device and the Asus device. Another thing that I changed on my AT&T modem was to disable Packet Filtering, NAT Default Server, and Firewall...

    AddOns Menu

All, Installed some of the add-ons but when I go to the Add-Ons its only showing me the option for conmon even though I have Diversions, ntpmerlin and spdmerlin. Im running this on 3006.102.1 on RT-BE96U router. I can manually open the pages for ntpmerlin and spdmerlin by going to user1.asp...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.8_2 is now available

I tried the power plug disconnect without success. If I try to SSH into the nodes that works fine so I know the IP addresses are correct.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.8_2 is now available

I'll try the power plug. I know I have rebooted them a couple of times. If the nodes are on a completely different code base, ie 3004.386.13 why would you need to upgrade them before upgrading the main router which is on 3004.388.8 builds. I thought that the two code based were completely...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.8_2 is now available

The URL of the router is http://172.16.1.1 the URL's of the nodes are http://172.16.1.85/AiMesh_Node_FirmwareUpgrade.asp and http://172.16.1.15/AiMesh_Node_FirmwareUpgrade.asp. The nodes are running 3004.386.13 which I believe was the last non-beta release before 3000.386.14 was released.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.8_2 is now available

I upgraded to 3004.388.8 on my Asus RT-AX86U and since then I am not able to connect to my mesh devices to upgrade them. They are showing up on the network and clients are connecting to them but when I go to Administrator/Firmware Upgrade and click on the Manual Firmware update upload link it...

Routers that will support 5GB fiber

Agree on what you are saying. I do have a NAS at home that me and my family connect to when away from home. According to my internet usage report this is what family used this month: Used 8335GB, 1004GB downloaded, 7332GB uploaded. This was an unusual month because my daughter is way at...
