    FAQ - Reserved Characters/Names - SSID/Passwords/Hostnames/Domains

It is accepted by the VPN provider. My email (with a plus) is the login. Can the firmware be fixed to transmit my login correctly?

    FAQ - Reserved Characters/Names - SSID/Passwords/Hostnames/Domains

The plus (+) character is not referenced here, but is a valid character for email addresses. Can you please see this thread and take a look at fixing/allowing the use of the + symbol please? https://www.snbforums.com/threads/vpn-client-bug.49831/ Thank you

That link doesn't reference the plus character. I'm not exactly sure what you wanted me to see there, but if you could elaborate, I would appreciate it.

    Static IP error (90+ IP's on a RT-AC88U with 382.1_2)

2500 is better, but if I add up only the MAC (17 characters) and IP (12-ish), and if I don't name anything, I can only get about 86 entries. I know this isn't your fault or anything, but 2500 is still not anywhere close enough to cover 128 hostname entries (or more than 86 for that matter)...

    Static IP error (90+ IP's on a RT-AC88U with 382.1_2)

Ok, I believe you that it is a known issue. However, I did search. There is other noise surrounding the issues that I found and it didn't sound like exactly what I had. In some cases they said they "solved" it, but maybe they didn't or maybe it was in fact unrelated. No need to be snarky...

    Static IP error (90+ IP's on a RT-AC88U with 382.1_2)

I have 90+ static IP's saved in: LAN>DHCP Server>Manually Assigned IP around the DHCP list (Max Limit : 128) When I try to (edit and/or) APPLY the page, I get: "Resulting list of DHCP reservations is too long - remove some, or use shorter names." Unfortunately, I can't tell you when this...

    Remote Access Config

By default, it looks like the firmware wants to use port 8443 for remote (wan) access. It even shows me the link to use, but the dynamic link doesn't work. I tried the actual IP from remote (and local) and it doesn't load the login page. It basically gives a "page cannot be reached" type of...

RT-AC88U gets sluggish after a short time

Good thought, I'll have to wait for it to take a dump again. I suspect I won't be able to get in, but it's worth a shot.

csv or other text file import export for backup restore

I think it was "Allow SSH password login" was the key...not sure how that is different from "Enable SSH", but I'm in. username: admin With dd-wrt, the user is root, so that tripped me up too. Thank you all!
