    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 is now available

    Well that mystery is gone; you were completely correct. “Enable efficient multicast forwarding (IGMP Snooping)” also solves the problem. The TV's DHCP client is back on, the router's syslog is ignoring it's requests, and the miniDLNA has been streaming for a few hours without the TV crashing...

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 is now available

    When I upgraded to 384.3 firmware one of my two Samsung TV's stopped working with the miniDLNA server built into the ASUS router. Both TV's worked flawlessly to a Plex media server on the same network, but the one TV would drop it's connection at unpredictable intervals disconnecting completely...
